On Tuesday, March 5, 2024, the English Education Department at Undiksha welcomed a delegation from the English Education Study Program, Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, State Islamic University of Walisongo Semarang.
The visit was ceremoniously inaugurated with the formal signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) delineating bilateral cooperation, particularly concerning the execution of Field Work Lectures (KKL) between the two esteemed institutions. Commencing the proceedings, Prof. Dr. IGA Lokita Purnamika Utami, in her capacity as co-chair of Undiksha’s English Education Department, provided a comprehensive overview of the department’s academic and programmatic intricacies.
Following this, Mrs. Luh Gede Eka Wahyuni, S.Pd., M.Pd, assumed the floor to expound upon the quality assurance mechanisms inherent within the program, elucidating the rigorous standards upheld to ensure pedagogical excellence. Dr. Wayan Surya Mahayanti, S.Pd., M.Pd, subsequently articulated the collaborative efforts of the department, delineating the strategic partnerships forged to bolster academic endeavors. The discourse was augmented by Mrs. GAP Suprianti, S.Pd., M.Pd, who delved into practical illustrations of pedagogical implementation within the framework of the practitioner teaching (MBKM) program.
The culmination of the visit transpired with an intellectually stimulating exchange, characterized by a robust discussion and student-led reflections on the efficacy of English language acquisition methodologies.
