Friendship Day is one of event which is held by Students Association of English Language Education on Saturday, September 29th, 2018 at Auditorium UNDIKSHA. The purpose of this Friendship Day is to increase the sense of togetherness in the extended family of English Language Education and facilitate the adjustment of newcomers students to English Language Education.

Every year, the themes and concepts chosen vary. However that are must be about education and related with English. This year the concept chosen was “ FIFA World Cup “ and the theme was “ Unstoppable “. Because the atmosphere of FIFA World Cup still felt continuously, that is the reason for choosing the concepts and themes.

Friendship Day was opened by the Head of English Language Education, Dr. Dewa Putu Ramendra, S.Pd., M.Pd. Participants who took part in this activity were newcomers students from the English Language Education. This event was attended by approximately 300 people, including the committee and lecturers of English Language Education. Seen from the participants who came, it could be said that the event was successfully.

There were many activities that held in Friendship Day. Group Performance was the first activity that held in Friendship Day. This activity has purpose to presents the creativity of each group. Furthermore, this event continued with Sharing Session. Sharing Session was divided into 3 sessions. There were Meet your Lecture, Introduction of HMPS PBI 2018/2019 and Sharing Session of Interest and Talent that contained in English Language Education. After that this event continued with English Quiz. English Quiz activity was carried out with quiz contest methods about general knowledge and around the English Language Education. After English Quiz, continued with activity was Outbound.

Then the event was closed by Committee Performance. Committee presented about Waka-Waka dance, and continued with flash mob dance included of all newcomers and committee. Furthermore, the event continued with taking pictures together.
