A comprehensive orientation event aimed at familiarizing new students with the intricacies of their study program took place on Sunday, August 20, 2023. Spearheaded by the erudite Study Program Coordinator, Dr. IGA Lokita Purnamika Utami, S.Pd., M.Pd., the event encompassed an array of insightful sessions designed to provide newcomers with a holistic understanding of their academic journey.
Dr. Utami’s leadership was instrumental in delivering an elucidation of the English Education study program’s overarching vision and mission, expounding upon the profiles that graduates are poised to embody, and acquainting attendees with the esteemed English lecturers who will guide them on their educational voyage.
Complementing this, Mrs. Luh Diah Surya Adnyani, S.Pd., M.Pd, contributed by imparting a comprehensive overview of the 2020 curriculum’s dimensions to the incoming students. Subsequently, Mrs. Luh Gede Eka Wahyuni, S.Pd., M.Pd, expounded upon the nuances of the learning process within tertiary institutions.
Recognizing the paramount significance of this orientation, it is designed to address the transitional challenges that new students typically encounter as they embark upon their college journey. The event spanned a duration of two hours and took place at the idyllic campus of the Faculty of Languages and Arts at Ganesha University of Education.
