Social Evening 2018 is the highlight of the anniversary of our department, English Language Education. So, Social Evening is the accumulation of a series of Social Gathering events. This year, Social Evening was held with theme “Party Under The Moonlight”. Beside of the celebration of English Language Education’s anniversary, Social Evening was held in order to entertained the Singaraja society. Because Social Evening invited an Indonesian’s famous guest star, Lyla. And not only Lyla, Social Evening also invited Joni Agung & Double T which attract the reggae lovers in Singaraja. The preparation of this event has been done for 3 months, since the open recruitment for Social Gathering committees. There were no big obstacles during this event. Its only a few reasonable technical errors occur during the event. Social Evening started by the opening which is included the speech of the head of committee, the student’s advisor, Kecak dance, fire dance and also modern dance. After that, there was special performance from ELE’s lecturers titled “Bali and Beyond”. Then, also there was a student’s performance, titled “MOANA”. After that, we had Joni Agung & Double T and closed with a gorgeous performance from Lyla. There are some differences between Social Evening 2017 and Social Evening 2018, such as the place, last year, this event was held in Gedung Kesenian Gde Manik and this year was held in Lapangan Sepak Bola Kampus Tengah, Undiksha. Then about the student’s performance, last year the performance showed for each semesters, but this year , all the semesters are put together and performed one performance.
