Singaraja, Bali – Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) is set to welcome two students from France for the upcoming even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The students will be enrolled in the English Education Department, where they will study a subject, namely Speaking for social interaction.
This is not the first time Undiksha has hosted international students, but it marks an exciting new chapter for the English Education Department. The presence of these French students is expected to enrich the learning environment and promote cross-cultural exchange among students and faculty.
In addition to the student exchange program, Undiksha has also announced that a French language lecturer will be joining the English Education Department this semester. The lecturer will teach French language courses, providing students with the opportunity to learn a new language and explore French culture.
“We are thrilled to welcome these French students and the new French lecturer to our university,” said Prof IGA Lokita Purnamika Utami, S.Pd., M.Pd, the head of English Language Education study program. “This is a great opportunity for our students to interact with people from different backgrounds and learn about different cultures. We believe that this will enhance their educational experience and prepare them for a globalized world.”
The arrival of the French students and lecturer is part of Undiksha’s ongoing efforts to internationalize its campus and provide students with a world-class education. The university has established partnerships with universities around the world and offers a variety of international programs for students and faculty.
