Singaraja, Bali – The English Education Department of Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) and the English Education Department of KH Mukhtar Syafaat Banyuwangi University have officially established a collaborative partnership. The partnership was formalized during a workshop held at Undiksha’s Faculty of Languages and Arts on February 18, 2025.
The workshop focused on the theme of “The Relationship between English Language Learning and Character Building.” Dr. Kadek Sonia Piscayanti, a lecturer from Undiksha’s English Education Department, presented a comprehensive session on this topic. Participants engaged in discussions and activities exploring how English language education can contribute to the development of strong character traits in students.
The highlight of the event was the signing of a cooperation agreement between the two departments. This agreement outlines plans for future collaborations, including student and faculty exchanges, joint research projects, and collaborative curriculum development.
The partnership between Undiksha and KH Mukhtar Syafaat Banyuwangi University is expected to foster academic and cultural exchange, promote innovation in English language education, and strengthen the ties between the two institutions. Both universities are committed to making this collaboration a successful and mutually beneficial endeavor.
