I believe that we can learn something new from everywhere. On Sunday, 29 March 2015, I learnt it through my experience. I joined a competition “Lomba MC dan Pewara se-Kecamatan Buleleng” held by Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia. Even it was only held in the district of Buleleng, the participants came from other regencies. Forty-two participants attended the event comprising students’ representatives from Ganesha University of Education and other institutions, like STKIP Agama Hindu Singaraja, STIKES Singaraja, SMKN 3 Singaraja, and SMAN 1 Singaraja.

As I have been doing this practice in several events, I want to see how far I can go with this. By joining this competition, I hope that I can learn from my weaknesses and got some advice from the judges so then I can improve my ability. In the competition I chose to present “The Election of Putra-Putri UNDIKSHA” as my topic. I tried my best to perform it even I got a little bit nervous. However the reaction of the audiences made me more enthusiastic in handling the event. In the end of the MC competition I got the second winner as the result of my hard work. I offered this victory for English Education Department and HMJ EED that always support us as the participant of the department. Thank you all. (Wisnu Saputra)
