Congratulations to Maftah Aliffallah, Putu Anggi Yumika Santhi, and Gede Susila Darma Putra, students of English for Business and Professional Communication and English Language Education, for earning Silver Medals in the Tourism and Culture as well as Education themes at the International Essay Competition. This prestigious international event brought together participants from Indonesia, Malaysia, Kenya, Nigeria, Somalia, and Syria.
The team proudly introduced their innovative ideas in two sub-themes. In Tourism and Culture, they presented “AGROLAND: A Community-Based Farming Platform to Enhance Productivity and Strengthen the Potential of Agritourism.” In the Education theme, they showcased “Touch and Match Inclusive Board as a Multi-Sensory Learning Medium for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.” The team successfully demonstrated how creative solutions can address real-world challenges in both the education and tourism sectors. Their ideas highlighted the importance of community empowerment, inclusivity, and sustainable development. Through their research and presentation, they proved their strong academic competence, critical thinking skills, and commitment to social impact.
Special appreciation goes to their supervisor, Prof. Dr. Ni Nyoman Padmadewi, M.A., for her continuous guidance, dedication, and unwavering support throughout the competition process. This achievement is a proud milestone and an inspiration for other students to continue innovating and contributing meaningfully at the international level.
